5 Tips to manage your time better

Do you know that all people have one thing in common which is 24 hours a day?

Behind every success, there is a human being who gives his best to achieve his goals. Think about this, time passes we cannot stop it, so the only thing we can do is to know how to manage it better.

In today's post, I would love to share 5 tips that will help you to manage your time effectively.

Tip 01: Set goals and rewards!

Knowing your ambitions help you increase your productivity, which will help you do as many things as possible in less time.

Also, rewarding yourself motivates you to keep up the good work and to do more. These rewards can be food, sweets or simply doing nothing just relaxing and enjoying your achievements.

Tip 02: Prioritise your tasks!

If you do not know your priorities, you will never be able to manage your time. Besides, prioritizing your tasks helps you to know what to do first. Try to divide your tasks into four categories:

1-Important and urgent: It includes the most important and urgent tasks that need to be done in a limited time.

2-Important but not urgent: The task that has no continued values.

3-Not urgent: It may include daily routine tasks.

4-Not important and not urgent: It is usually the leisure activities.

Dividing your tasks into these four categories gives you a better view of your tasks, and which one needs to be dealt with first.

Stephen Covey said: " Most of us spend too much time on what is urgent, and not enough time on what is important.

Tip 03: Set clear deadlines!

Ask yourself, how much time do I need to finish this task?

Everything will be much easier if you set clear deadlines for each task you do. Calendar can be a useful tool to know what to do and when.

Tip 04: Say "NO" to multitasking!

Multitasking means doing more than one task at the same time. Multitasking does not save your time, on the contrary, it will let you complete tasks of low quality. Also, your attention is divided between two or three things which will make you miss some important details.

Try to focus on one task and do it properly and creatively, then move to the next task. You will notice more productivity and effectiveness in your work.

Tip 05: Keep your inspiration and motivation!

After a continued work of two or three weeks, it is normal to feel tired and down. Try to talk to someone who inspires you, someone who can make you happy and motivated.

Besides, put motivational quotes and affirmations in your workspace and read it whenever you feel down. You can also watch motivational videos and read success stories to increase your productivity and motivation.
