5 Tips to overcome anxiety

  


  There are so many ways to reduce anxiety and stress so that I will share 5 tips that I personally use to reduce my anxiety whenever I feel stress and down.




Tip 01: Be busy all day!

   Do you know that anxiety loves and lives in quiet?

    When you have nothing to do or you are just sitting at home, you may feel anxious. The solution is simple; try to have things to do all day long and the best way to find things to do is to plan for it.

   Take your notebook every night before you go to bed and write the things you need to do the next day, I guarantee you will find so many things you have to do.






Tip02: Be focused!

   When you feel anxious, focus on the area of your body where you feel stressed. It may be your throat, your shoulders, your head, or wherever it is just focus on it and start breathing slowly. Do it over and over, if you lose your attention and keep breathing over it. 

   This is a strong way to bring your mind into your anxiety to diminish it.





Tip 03:Exercise!

    Take 30 minutes each day to go for a walk, to run, or to play basketball.

    Do anything to exert your physical energy which will help you bring anxiety down.





Tip 04:Call a friend!

    It is really important to contact people, you can create an emergency list. Call your friend whenever you feel lonely, anxious, stressed, or lost. 

    Make sure to have more than three people on the list in order to have the chance to talk to someone, if the others are busy. This way is really effective because hearing someone's voice can be so soothing and the better you will start to feel.






Tip05: Help others!

   Helping others has a direct influence on how do we feel. Mahatma Gandhi said, "The best way to find yourself is to lose yourself in the service of others".

   Try to help someone who is in need, It does not need to be money because it can be just a smile or a word that can change people's lives.

    Go to hospitals, and see how much you are blessed to be healthy.       Be grateful you can walk, speak, and hear. Be grateful for everything you have and also for the things you do not have. Stop being anxious and start giving lives for others. 

    Volunteer in different charity campaigns, donate blood; remember you have so many things you can help with.
