5 Tips to maintain your mental health


                                    




   Most people do not care about their mental health as much as they care about their physical bodies. This unbalance can cause serious problems that may lead to chronic illnesses.

   Our mental health determines how we think, feel, and act, so being mentally healthy has a positive influence on productivity and effectiveness in our life.

   In this post, I share with your 5 tips to maintain your mental health.




Tip 01: Plan and Prioritise!

   Planning is a mental exercise because It helps you know what you need. Besides, prioritizing is related to planning, as a result, if you do not recognize your priorities, your plan means nothing.

   Alan Lakein said: "Planning is bringing the future into the present so that you can do something about it now."


                    


Tip 02: Sleep well!

   Most people need 8 hours of sleep to function at their best.      Therefore, we should eliminate all external influences like TV and phones.

   Try to keep your phone far away from you at night and charge it in the living room to avoid using it in case you cannot sleep. Also, try to turn off the TV and phone 30 minutes before bedtime.

   Mesut Barazany said: "Your future depends on your dreams, so go to sleep."



      


Tip 03:Eat healthy food!

   Nutritionists found that eating healthy food has a direct influence on our mental health. Eating healthy affects how your day goes and It makes you energetic all day. For example, having a healthy breakfast keeps your body away from a lot of illnesses such as diabetes, heart disease, and being overweight.

   Try to eat regular, well balanced, and nutritious meals. Stay hydrated and drink plenty of water.

   Morgan Spurlock said: "Sorry, there is no magic bullet, you got to eat healthily and live healthy to be healthy and look healthy. End of story."





Tip 04: Engage with others!

    Connect with your family and friends. Surround yourself with people who make you feel happy and avoid sitting with negative people because they will transmit negativity to you. Do not isolate yourself because it is not a helpful method to feel safe; remember you were born to be surrounded with your loved people.

   If you connect with other people, your body secretes endorphins hormone which will make you feel happy.

   Tom Ford said: "The most important things in life are the connections we make with others."


                


Tip 5:Exercise your mind!

   Physical exercises are  important to keep you mentally healthy. 

   Take at least 10 minutes each day to exercise; It will improve your outlook and help you do more and give more.

   Keep in mind; move more, sit less.

   Mike Singletary said: "Do you know what my favorite part of the game is? It is the opportunity to play."
